Maybe, the Wright State VB team making it to Omaha will inspire another Raider team to make it to the CWS in Omaha. This is a great opportunity for the VB team. I read that they are only going to allow 3000 people in for the matches. That has to be the screw-ups at the NCAA because Nebraska has virtually no restrictions on crowds and there is no state-wide mask mandate. I think it would be really cool if the Lady Raiders could play in front of 7000 or 8000 fans or maybe more. On the bright side at least they are in Omaha. Go Lady Raiders.

Raiders take the first set 25-20. 5 aces in the set. Raiders had a comfortable lead the entire way. Samford made a late 4-0 run to make the score closer than the set was.

Raiders take set 2 in convincing fashion 25-12. Looks like a mismatch so far.
Raiders have already set a season high with 10 aces. Still at least one set to play.

Raiders take the third set 25-15 and sweep the match in outright dominate fashion. Raiders led wire to wire and was never really threatened the entire match. Raiders ended up with 14 aces.
Raiders get the program's first ever NCAA tournament win and will play 4th seeded Texas tomorrow at 7p.
