Add IPFW to the Covid list. They have canceled their game tonight against Michigan.

UIC, IUPUI, and Detroit are going through COVID issues and their games this weekend have been canceled:
Thursday
YSU-UDM
CSU-IUPUI
PFW-UIC
Saturday
PFW-IUPUI
RMU-UDM
CSU-UIC
Cleveland State will now host Purdue-Fort Wayne on Thursday, in addition to hosting them again for the originally schedule game on January 5. With these cancellations and the league matching teams up like this, we are going to see greatly unbalanced schedules again. Cleveland State and Purdue Fort Wayne are now schedule to play each other 3 times this season. We will see if they can play 5 games like last season (4 regular season, 1 conference tournament).
Some cancellations will be deemed forfeits and some will be deemed no contests, so the standings could get very interesting.

The league has already said any covid-related cancelations caused by one program would be considered forfeits specifically to prevent the same bs results we saw last season. I wonder then, if both teams have covid issues if the game is then a no contest. That would put us right back where we were last year, trying to determine a conference winner without an even number of games played. This issue is only exacerbated by the league forcing a full 22 game schedule down everyone's throats and giving no flexibility for accommodating Covid cancelations and the need for rescheduling.
