In my opinion, the amount of PT is determined by Coach Nagy, and not any of us. I do not post negative things about our players, even if I don’t believe a player may get a lot of time I will be encouraging to them. These are young men and omen and deserve fans that will be encouraging to them. Recruits may read these posts if considering WSU.

I think it’s crazy to think Manns will start, but to talk so negatively about him is pathetic, unless you have some inside info. His teammates seem to like him. I know several of them have referred to him as the funniest guy on the team. I’ll give him credit for sticking with it at Wright State, despite not getting a lot of playing time. Many people would have a bad attitude and have looked elsewhere, especially with some of the stats and highlights he could show from his limited playing time 2 seasons ago. With the depth at the 4 and 5, it’s tough to imagine him getting major minutes, but I’ll be rooting for him. This is major college athletics where guys get the equivalent of an 100k education, a yearly monetary stipend from WSU, and can even get endorsement deals now for playing ball. This is not pee wee basketball for little kids where everyone gets a trophy for participation. James is a really nice kid and his teammates do like him. That doesn’t mean he is doing a damn thing to help us win games. For the record, I hope he reads this. I hope it pisses him off and he uses it for motivation and I would love for him to try to prove me wrong this year. Agree with all of us. My comment was mainly on the assessment of how he is such a poor teammate. Just because he hasn't seen the court much or shown the improvement Coach Nagy wants, does not mean he is a bad teammate. Only those that are a part of the team have any idea on how good of a teammate he is.

One thing I really like about Coach Nagy is the straightforwardness. It doesn’t matter if he’s talking to a random person on the street or his own boss, he won’t feed you any B.S……..it’s not the most exciting style, but it’s one that I respect. Looking forward to the upcoming year as always!
