Cowboys walk off on a booted ball in the 10th. When it rains, it pours. Dreadful first two series. Up late on another powerhouse and couldn't hold a lead in the 9th.

As someone else mentioned, WSU picked up a game at Oral Roberts this afternoon before flying back to Dayton late this evening. Oral Roberts has a 2pm game scheduled today against St. Louis and then will play us at 5. This is a good opportunity for us to pick up a decent win against a team that will likely be a bit more tired than us. We finish up the weekend at Virginia Tech who is so undefeated so far this season before opening up the home slate against UD a week from tomorrow.

UC beat Ohio State at hone 5-4 with a walk-off hit in front of 2451 fans. To open the season UC went 2-2 against FGCU. #RaiderGang went 1-3 versus FGCU last season. Both UC and OSU are on the schedule this season.

We got gashed 17-1.
The "go on the road and play great teams because it's too cold to play in Ohio" part of the season is behind us. We finished this stretch of the season 1-8, had one game canceled. Raiders outscored 111-45 the 9 games. Suffice to say the pitching has some work to do. Raiders had leads in 4 of the 8 losses.
The season continues Tuesday in the home opener against that team across town.

The 3-game series versus Indiana State will be a good one. Indiana State beat Minnesota twice, they beat Maryland and they beat Michigan. They lost twice to Ohio State and East Carolina This will be the best team to visit the Nisch. This would be a great series to come out and watch. I think it will be tough to win this series.
