Jake Shirk is off to an awfully bad start. 7-0 last season with a sub 3 ERA. This season, in 4 appearances he's given up 6, 5, 4, and 2 earned runs for an ERA over 9 and an 0-3 record.

Their record is markedly better and they have several wins against quality opponents. Took the series which was much needed, great win today!

#RaiderGangs RPI sits at 82. Xavier comes to the Nisch to play tomorrow. Their record is 5-11 and their RPI is 41. They went 0-3 versus Alabama, 0-3 versus Oregon State, lost to Louisville, went 0-3 versus Coastal Carolina. They did beat South Carolina and NKU. Last time, they played, the Raiders won 12-2. Wright State is 10-9 all-time versus Xavier. Should be a tough game.

Xavier is at Indiana for a four-game series and they won the first game 9-7. Xavier is a good team. The Raiders will see them again this year.
