We should stop doing anything and only shoot 3s. It's going great so far.

It seems like there is even less depth than last years team. This might be a really rough year.

I feel like this is an appropriate time to adjust expectations for the season.
Zero wins against Divison 1 in four tries? Seems like Wright State belongs in the Horizon =(

This team could use some home-cooking. Early in the season, but tough to watch so far. We'll bounce back, but we have a lot of things to improve on...

I think I'm more worried about our lack of depth and what it's doing to our starters and the rotation we DO have. Too many minutes too early in the season, imho.

They'll look better with more experience and playing other similar level programs in the Horizon but looking like a .500 Conference record will be an accomplishment. Poor outside shooting combined with a lack of physicality limits the upside.

A tale of two halves. The Raiders came out aggressive to start the game, playing tough D and set on winning the battle for rebounds and loose balls. In the 2nd half, James Madison was the aggressor, while the Raiders came out flat. A loss is a loss, but overall the Raiders looked much better today, particularly in the first half.
Does anyone know when those who have been inactive are expected back (Voss, Huibregtse, Noel)? That will help on the depth.

If anyone watched Last Chance U on Netflix, Joe Hampton is on Long Beach St. who we play tomorrow.

They are far from meaningless. First and foremost, losing all of these games will guarantee us a 15 or 16 seed if we are fortunate enough to make the Dance. It helps drag down the conference NET ranking also. Plus it reflects poorly on the program and makes recruiting even harder. I strongly disagree with that statement.

Drop, I wish I could share your optimism for this team. But when the starters are playing this many minutes, they don’t have the legs to finish strong. Unless there is a change the end of the season will end up with us losing games we should win because of tiredness. Mann’s may not be a great player but he could give some rest to the better player so he can be better at the end of the game.
