AJ had a great game against IPFW. He shows a lot of talent and promise. Yes, he is a freshman, but his defense is awful. Manns might as well be in at least he can hit a 3 and won't do those stupid rainbow shots jumping from the free throw line.

If you're not a good 3 shooter or in a slump, don't shoot it. Right now there is no one on this team that should be shooting threes.

This loss has to be on Nagy and Holden.

This loss has to be on Nagy and Holden. Basketball is a team sport. Guys have off nights and the team needs to overcome that. Our defense cost us this game and that is on our coaches. They didn't make a damn adjustment all game.

Tanner had an off night. He was due. He has been our most consistent guy all season.

Not any players fault it's our coach for putting together a bad roster and setting them up for failure. Voss, wilbourn, Andrew, finke and Alex (I know he didn't play but in the games he has) add nothing. Hopefully next recruiting class is better and can help.

It obviously makes more sense to play the freshman who is going to be our starting center for the next 4 years that needs the experience vs the 5th year senior who is out the door at the end of the season.

Well, coach cited poor defense as a major problem. That should be fixable. But he also said we were soft. Not sure how that gets fixed.
Post game they said csu has 12 seniors. My prediction : they win the league, go to ncaa and their coach is off to greener pastures.
Hard to win road games . The home court advantage is too much to overcome. The crowd was just overwhelming. Lol

I think poor defense has been cited every game. At some point something has to change. I liked Matty Cox's (of the Three Man Weave podcast) description of the Wright State defense after the PFW game: "exquisite matador defensive effort."

This team has no depth. In this game, our bench played a total of 32 minutes, scored 6 points, and grabbed 2 rebounds. By comparison, CSU's bench played 64 minutes, scored 37 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. That's a huge disparity in talent off of the bench in favor of CSU. Unless we start getting some production from our bench players, this is shaping up as a mediocre team who will finish in the middle of the pack in the HL.

Unless we start getting some production from our bench players, this is shaping up as a mediocre team who will finish in the middle of the pack in the HL. We definitely need more production from our bench but this is not a middle of the pack HL team. At worst, I think we finish 3rd behind CSU and Oakland. We just lost to the deepest and most well coached team in the HL. A couple of days ago we blew out Fort Wayne. They just blew out NKU who was predicted to finish 3rd in the HL. We need the defense to improve. We need a more consistent contribution from our bench. Most importantly, we need our staff to make adjustments. This team is lacking a couple of athletic guards that can create their own shot and defend our opposing teams guards. Our coaches need to come up with a game plan to compensate for that because Vaughn Duggins isn’t walking through the door tomorrow to help us finish out the year. These are the players we have on our roster. We need to find a way to get the most out of what they are capable of doing. If they aren’t athletic enough to play man to man against some of these athletes we are facing this year we need to try some type of zone. I can’t get mad at Finke or Holden because they aren’t quick enough to defend some of these shorter quicker guards in the HL. It’s not their fault our coaches brought in an undersized post in Wilbourn and another wing in Voss and sat on their last scholarship instead of bringing in 2-3 athletic guards. It’s not their fault they are playing out of position. This is on our coaching staff. They need to figure out how to make it work. They hand picked this roster.
