It feels awfully weird to have this big of a gap between games. Akron is on a 3 game win streak, but has a home contest with Florida A&M next Sunday before our game Wednesday. Akron had Ohio State on the ropes to start the season. It took a Buckeye buzzer beater to send the Zips home with the loss. Akron also beat Marshall by 2 in a home contest on December 1st, but had a less than stellar performance at an MTE in Florida dropping 2 out of 3 games. I only got to catch the last few minutes of the OSU game, but anyone that can hang with OSU certainly has the athletes to give this team fits. Hopefully we utilize this long break to make some defensive adjustments and focus on being well-rested, but well-focused.

The gap is for finals week. We typically do not schedule games if at all possible during finals week.

This is lethargic, uninspired basketball. Just not where we should be this far into a coach's career. We're playing like we had no idea our best player wasn't going to be on this roster, and 9 games into this season, there's been very little improvement.
