23 points in a half of basketball equates to a loss a hell of a lot more often than it does a win. Nagy has to get this figured out. This feels like were a d3 school in a buy game.

If we could make our FTs and lay ups we would be winning this game. Why does this seem like a common theme with this team? I have been watching since 2007 and they always seemed to miss easy shots and free throws. Laying an egg in front of decent crowd is another trend. Looks like a good amount of students showed up today. |

50-29. Not much to say. Grant passed up a 3 to take in the paint. Next possession, he throws up a 3 that is too hard. Unbelievable.

One concession stand open--one. I brought friends to this that are UD season ticket holders. When theyβre trashing everything about the game it used to be nice Iβd at least be able to joke we could win a game vs them. |

One of the most frustrating parts of this game is that Coach Brown is giving Akron a lot of defensive props, but hasn't put hardly any ownership on this team or, more importantly I think, its coaching staff.
Akron got off to a hot start...yeah... we all saw that. But there's been nary a response all game. He also went on and on about how we haven't played in 10 days and how Akron looks crisp on both sides of the ball. Akron has hit a lot of outside shots, but it's all what Akron is doing, not what we aren't.
It's time to call a spade a spade. This stretch is probably the worst extended run I've seen WSU go on, and certainly the worst run we've had under Nagy. This team used to be incredibly tough at home. I think we lost something like 6 home games in Brownell's tenure. It seems that we never got manhandled in a run like this, especially at home. (Cincinnati once), but this is a MAC school we should, at minimum, be competitive with. Sure, we've had a few bad weeks, but we're almost two months into the season and we're getting completely blown out at home.

My perspective, at the present time we donβt have a team. We have a group of players. They appear to be psychologically stressed. If the coach keeps doing the same things it will continue to get worse.
