There hasn't been any real discussion about tonight's game. I assume part of the reason is that people are just busy getting ready for X-mas, but I think the bigger reason is that everyone expects us to get an old fasion butt whooping tonight. I really hope that is not the case. I don't expect a win tonight, but I do hope we continue to see defensive improvement and can keep the score respectable. It would be great to get Grant and Tim's offense back on track. Grant has been scoring but he has been taking a ton of mostly bad shots to get there. I would like to see him focus on scoring near the basket and trying to play physical. Tim just needs to knock down a few shots and get his confidence back. We need both of these guys ready for HL play. I take full credit for tonight's win. I think they saw my post this morning and it pissed them all off, lol. |

At the start of the season, I thought the Raiders could win this game. Going into today, I didn't think they stood a chance. Awesome game! I hope this game restores the team's confidence and they can be this team throughout the conference schedule.

Freaking great win...a real joy to watch. Gotta keep the momentum going now...was nice to see them handle the pressure well, especially the freshmen. Finke did a lot of little stuff and the studs were studs...

This team played as a team tonight and everyone benefitted. Overall a great game but gave up too many offensive rebounds.

Basile 23 and 14. Big man was doing it all. 2 blocks, and only 2 fouls. Both of our big men. Braun had 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks too. Tonight had to be a great confidence booster for the team. We have a whole week to get healthy now for HL play. |
