Grants gonna be sore tomorrow from that last shot. I get the sense they donβt like Gholston much.

Two questions: 1) Did Keaton ever come back after he took that charge in the second half? Really hope he isnβt hurt. 2) Travis Trice also appeared to be missing. Maybe he was the fourth?

Only three 3-point attempts in the final 12 minutes. That, and the Gholston magic running out.
Glad to grab the win and move on.

No, that's why Welage was in under the gun down the stretch, and, for a kid that clearly isn't clicked in 100%, he made some damn good plays down the stretch. The layup and one, the pull up jumper, and the dart of a pass to Finke for the dagger. Nice to see him answer the bell tonight.

Besides getting the win, I think the most encouraging thing about tonight is that we are starting to get more consistent contribution from our bench. Norris had 8 points and 2 boards. Welage had 5 points and an assist. Wilbourn had 6 points and 5 rebounds. When AJ Braun is back in the starting line up, if those 3 can keep contributing off the bench we can finish out this year strong.

Just curious if anyone has any insight as to how it works when coach is out. Can he watch and advise remotely or does he leave the game completely in the hands of assistants? Is he even in the Nutter or quarantining at home?

Is he even in the Nutter or quarantining at home? He has to quarantine at home. He wasnβt suspended or serving some kind of punishment so if he is feeling ok Iβm sure he is allowed to help as much as he wants to from home. I have no insight into what he is doing now. My guess would be that he trusts Clint to run things on his own.

Congratulations Coach Clint Sargent. I think yesterday was the first of many wins to come in his head coaching career.
