I just listened to the final minute with the radio guys and I really think coach brown needs to start showing a little emotion. He was just a little stoic during those final seconds.
Second, somebody here was trying to compare this win to 2007. There is no comparison. 07 was at home, there were 10000 wild raider fans going nuts and butler was a rated team. To top it off Wilbur and Orville Wright were in the house. Priceless!!!
This was a nice win though, but not just because it got us to the dance, though that is huge. But I have a suspicion about something. If we had lost the league invite to that school for the fourth time in five years I think we may have lost a couple of our better players to the transfer portal. They may have seen that option as the way to improve chances of making it to the dance. Hopefully now all the key players will come back. However, if we hope to have a better season next year we need to hit the transfer portal ourselves.. and we need to do a way, way better job of bringing in a couple of impact players!!
