I think this is a good match up for us. Looking at box scores from their last several games, they don't go very deep, and they don't have a ton of great size. Our boys get to sleep in their own beds and practice in our own facilities preparing for this game. We should also be playing in front of a very large pro-WSU crowd.

Bad side of Bryant is that they've been extremely hot winning their last 7, and 15 of their last 16. They've only lost 2 games in 2022. They played a MTE down in Florida (1-1) and got smoked in trio of buy games earlier in the season (Cincinnati, Clemson, Houston). I don't see any common opponents, but I wonder if Nagy picks up the phone and gives Brad Brownell a ringy-ding.

Really hope we get a large turnout to support our team. I think I'll be in section 200? My buddy bought the tickets on ticketmaster.
Also this doesn't matter but I was waiting for someone on CBS to talk about how it's a short distance for us. Andy Katz has a video on YouTube, spent a few seconds talking about 16 seed Georgia State. Then glosses over our play in game and picks Bryant "just for ha-ha's, Bryant wins this game".

Should be a competitive game. Conferences are closely ranked (27th versus 29th), yes it shocked me how far the Horizon League has fallen to be ranked 6 spots below a Summit League they left so many years ago. Good reward for the conference tournament championship. Hopefully they can pull out the win and enjoy it before they get smoked by Arizona.

The leading scorer for Bryant might lose his mind against us when he gets shut down. Home crowd could get on his nerves as well.

On the bright side, Dayton plays at the same time up in Toledo, so many of their season ticket holders that have first 4 tickets may put them up for sale.
As far as the game, anything can happen in 1 game, but to our advantage, Robert Morris recently did really well in Bryant’s NEC conference, but that did not translate well when they came to the Horizon. I believe the top of the Horizon is much better than the NEC. It’s the bottom teams in the HL that have taken the Horizon league down in stature.
