UFR.....worrying by all of us fans won't do a bit of good. What we should be doing is supporting this team and cheering them on. Let the coach's worry, they are in a position to get this team on track and I do think they are an excellent coaching staff.

Wright State vs Xavier 2pm at UC, Tuesday 4/11. Championship game of the Joe Nuxhall Classic.
Don't look now but Xavier (20-12) is in first place in the Big East with an RPI of 46. They are on a 10 game winning streak.
Wright State (16-15) is in second place in the HL with an RPI of 100 and on a three game losing streak.
Wright State leads the all-time series 39-33. The Raiders fell to the Xavier 16-8 at home in the first meeting between the two schools on March 29

RaiderGang is up 8-0 after three innings. If Wright State was playing a good team, I would not feel confident of holding the lead. But, against Toledo I think there is a strong probability RaiderGang keeps their foot on the gas.

Our RaiderGang is up 7-0 after one inning. There is still plenty of time to get over to the Nisch to catch the game.
There is a woman umpire in this came. She is the first one I have seen at the Div I level. As you probably know there is a huge push by MLB/MiLB to push women into coaching and umpiring. I haven't seen that in college baseball. And for the record from what I can tell from the broadcast, she looks pretty solid, at least with her timing and mechanics.
Sebastian Gongora (4-1) is on the mound today, so I feel good about the Raiders holding on to win.

Wright State baseball will face the University of Dayton on Tuesday, April 18, at 7:00 p.m. at Day Air Ballpark, the home of the High-A Dayton Dragons. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. for the 135th career meeting between the Raiders and Flyers.
Tickets are $5.00 for children (14 and under) and $10.00 for adults. Students from both Wright State and Dayton will be admitted free of charge.

ON this date in 2018 RaiderGang beat UD 11-2.
Wright State leads the all-time series 88-45-1, which includes a 17-1 mark against Dayton dating back to the 2009 season. The Raiders went 1-1 versus the UD in 2022, shutting out the Flyers 14-0 in their home opener before losing 9-3 on the road. Let's get a good crowd to support the Raiders today.
