Yes, you read that right. NKU had UC on the ropes the entire second half, and UC really didn't make it competitive at all in the last 15' or so. The same team that got blown out at home by Kent State just took Cincinnati to the woodshed. Certainly NKU's biggest non-con win since joining D1. 8503 in attendance is the highest attended HL game since at least 2018.

Big win for NKU last night. Some very early season takeaways: Oakland probably won't win a single non conference D1 game. I like Kampe as a human, but hes proven nothing since joining the Horizon League. Detroit, Milwaukee, and Youngstown St have improved from years past. PFW is experienced and very well balanced. Cleveland St looks like a D11 program again without Gates. IUPUI is the worst D1 basketball team in America.....AGAIN! My bold take: (in no particular order) When the season is over the bottom 4 teams will be Robert Morris, Green Bay, Cleveland St, and IUPUI. The top 4 will be WSU,NKU,PFW,and YSU.

Neutral site game (Jamaica). Phoenix led by 1 at the half, but Queens stormed back with 47 in the second half. Queens is in their first year in D1 competing in the ASUN...soooo that's another crap loss for our conference.
