Hey guys. Been out running errands. Did I miss anything? Green Bay got crushed by Georgetown. Otherwise nothing else relevant from the Horizon today. Before today when was the last WSU game winning buzzer beater? The last one I remember is Miles Dixon hitting the game winner against Detroit in the 2013 Horizon semifinals. There has to be one I'm missing.

I agree. I’d like to see Braun and Noel in the starting lineup with Finke at the 3 and Calvin and Davis at the 1 and 2. Blake should be getting major minutes backing up Braun and Noel. We actually have 3 really good bigs. Play them Agree 100%! I think coach Nagy sees Cole Gentry when he looks at keaton Norris when fact he's closer to Joe Bills at this stage of his career. I agree that Noel, Braun & Sisley should be rotating at the 4 and 5 positions. Calvin, Davis, Finke, Noel, and Braun should be our starting 5. Norris, Huibregtse, Welage, and Sisley should round out the rotation. The HL and most mid-majors in general, don't have depth in the post. We have 3 really good big men on our roster. Two of them should be on the court together at all times. It gives us a huge advantage in the paint that we have wasted these first 2 games. On a side note, Nagy is doing exactly what Evansville did wrong with Sisley last year resulting in him transferring. They barely gave him any playing time most of the season. When they finally gave him extended playing time at the end of the year, he ended the season as a double-digit scorer when given real playing time. So far this year he is averaging 6 points per game while only playing 8.5 minutes per game. Keaton has been averaging 34 minutes per game and is only averaging 3.5 points. Huibregtse has been averaging 20 minutes a game so far and 7.5 points per game. Finke is leading the team averaging 39 minutes per game and has scored 8.0 points per game. There is no reason whatsoever that some of those minutes shouldn't be given to Sisley. The kid is a baller and could be much more of an asset for the team if given more of a chance.

I watch the condensed version of the game and the two guys that stood out to me were Noel and Alex Huibregste. I was impressed with Noel's athleticism and Huibregste's ability to create shots on some of those 3's he hit.
This could finally be a Nagy team that goes 8-9 deep. It seems most years he just plays about 7 guys regularly. It'll be interesting to see where they go. I think Davis will have some big games at some point. They've got some nice variety on this team. Still got to shoot the three ball a lot better.

Looking through the box score I saw our bench outscored Louisville 34 - 7!
