Nice to get a win after last years MTE. This team looks really good. Clean up the second half turnovers and it’s an even bigger spread.

Good win. We need to take care of the ball and get Tim out of his funk.

This team is really good and I love the fact that we are consistently going 9 deep. This depth is going to net us 2-3 wins this year.

I felt we looked good offensively, too many turnovers but when you run a fast offense with more and faster possessions you get some turnovers that are passes that miss their marks. We still need to clean up that part of our game. I also credit ACU to playing tough defense the whole game, I feel they forced several of our turnovers.
Good win, they seem to be a well coached team and we were in control the whole game.

Maybe a little too early to say, but Calvin and Davis could be among the best Raider backcourts ever, if not the best ever, if staying healthy the whole season.

Maybe even an understatement...Calvin is averaging 24 ppg and 5 assists per game, Davis 15ppg and I believe 7 rebounds per game. Incredible numbers early on! Key is who is that 3rd scorer? Maybe just a committee of guys, but will see if one guy kind of separates as that consistent 3rd option.

It was a tale of two halves in the nightcap last night as UC-Riverside held a 19 point halftime lead, but saw it slowly eaten into as the second half moved along. In the end, UC-Riverside pulled out a 7 point win over Weber State. UC-R went 10 deep and Weber State 11, so everyone in the field is clearly trying to manage minutes and fatigue. Have to think that we're going to be better rested given a 2.5 hour head start, but Vegas has UC-Riverside as a 1 point favorite tonight.

I saw both teams play earlier in the season UC-R is long and likes the three. Weber isn’t as long but their size thicker. I think I heard them say four of the five starters are transferres. They remind of some of the UIC teams a lot of talent but they don’t ply together. Both games could be won on the glass.

FWIW, we're now 1.5 point favorites.

I think the key to a win is our defense on their two leading scorers, 6’4 and 6’5 guards. Then on our offensive end we should have better quickness. I hope Tim can start relaxing and playing upto his potential.

They need to take care of the basketball. 18 turnovers like they had vs ACU won't cut it tonight.
