Last tune-up before the conference season. This team has certainly had its up's and down's, but this non-conference schedule has resulted in a vast majority of the D-I games being competitive, and while the sub D-I games and not ideal (especially for season ticket holders), as a fan that lives outside the Dayton area I can just completely ignore these games and I don't believe they impact the NET rankings, RPI, etc. But who are we kidding...with the current state of the HL it will be hard to imagine WSU getting anything higher than a 15-seed unless they win 85% of their games.
Green and Red jersey for christmas tonight?? It was great seeing Kampe and Izzo wear the Christmas attire last night

9-8 Hawks at the u16. Braun carrying the load with 6 of our 8. Hawks came out 3-3 from behind the arc, but are 0-2 since. I don't think they've attempted a 2pt shot, and we haven't attempted a 3.

17-13 Hawks at the u12. Hawks with two hustle offensive rebounds that we just stood around and watched on. Miami's PG is on the bench with 2 fouls, and Calvin has beat his replacement off the dribble twice in 3 minutes. Hopefully someone noticed that speed mismatch and we continue to take advantage.

Calvin huge to right the ship after a slow offensive start.
Welage huge off the bench doing it all on the offensive end. Big hustle offensive board led to a 3, hit a 3 of his own, then had a nice pass to a cutting Calvin in the lane leading to more WSU points

Miami had 1 foul in the last 8 minutes of the half...poor execution down the stretch trying to get to the paint and get to the FT line.
