Team is just flat. Somehow tell me how next year is going to better without Trey. The only offensive player we have. Might be a rough couple of seasons. It's not going to be better unless we convince some immediate-impact players to transfer here with whatever scholarships we have available. This team took it in the rear-end with Holden and Basile leaving with no warning and it killed our entire rotation and Nagy didn't have enough time to react. Now we suck, and now we risk having that same problem again at the end of this year. None of the freshman coming in are going to save this team next year, so it's either land someone who can make a major impact immediately, or lather, rinse, repeat in my opinion.

Some Trey magic and Detroit collapse and the Raiders take the lead.

This is what I love to see. When this place is alive it's so much fun.

Got hot at the right time, and Detroit went ice cold from 3. What a comeback.

We finished on a 34-14 run. Good comeback, showed great adversity, and pulled it out on ESPN!

Detroit hasn't beat us on our home court since 2013 apparently.
4488 in attendance is tops for us this season, the most for a home conference game in the league so far this season, and second this year for all HL home games only behind NKU vs UC (8503).

I think we are going to be just fine next year. We have solid inside guys that are young and will continue to improve with experience. I think Welage is going to have a huge year for us next year when he is finally given more extended playing time. We have 3 good young players red-shirting this year and 3 really good guards coming in. We have 1 open scholarship and I expect our staff will use it to bring in an experienced guard that can help provide some leadership for what will be a very young team. The guys red-shirting and the guards coming in are all extremely good 3 point shooters. Having more consistent outside shooting should open thing up inside for our big men next year.

Noel is unreal. A massive game from him tonight. Watching him at the start of the season I knew he was special but wow. I hope he stays at WSU for a long time.

After scoring 2 points in the opening 5 minutes of the second half...and being down 15 shortly after that, I told my wife it would be a miracle if we came back. Well, a miracle it was! I'm going to give coach Trice some extra props for being a cheerleader and helping to get the crowd back into the game when we whittled it down to single digits -- sad he had to do that, but it was great to see the crowd respond (at least from my area in section 205).

In my opinion, you are one of the most negative fans we have had on this board since when KeithfromZenia used to post regularly. This year hasn’t been going our way. It sucks. We lost 2 All conference players we thought were going to lead us to the next level as a program. I have no trouble whatsoever believing Coach Nagy is going to turn things around. His record here and at SDSU speaks for itself. As Wolf already pointed out, we have one of the best group of big men in the HL coming back next year and we have 2 more 6-8+ kids who are redshirting. We have another 6-5 guard red-shirting and 3 of the most talented guards coming in that Nagy has signed in his tenure here. I see a lot of reasons to be optimistic about next year.

All fair comments...I'll say in defense of kfx that his biggest, continued beef is with scheduling <D1 schools and the quality of the Horizon league...which are also fair criticisms.
