Really hoping for a good turnout at this game -- the students usually seem to show up for the TV games. Looks like NKU is organizing a bus for their students...

Really hoping for a good turnout at this game -- the students usually seem to show up for the TV games. Looks like NKU is organizing a bus for their students... You're definitely right. The team has had many peaks and valleys this season, but we still have a number of seniors to recognize on senior night against our biggest rival. Also, our run of leading the league in attendance is a bit up in the air this season, though there's a few asterisks involved which we can put entirely to bed if we can get 5k+ in the seats, which we've only done once all season (vs. Green Bay). There's not really any factors working against us...the students don't have class, it's not a school night for the local community obviously, but the Ticketmaster seat map isn't incredibly encouraging at this point. Hopefully there's some walk ups. It appears that NKU bought a block up in 208/209, so we need our students to show up for sure. I really wish we'd figure out how to bus students to some of our more local games...we used to do that when we went to Butler, but it seems like those opportunities are few and far between now. |

This may not belong in this thread but wsuraider09 mentioned attendance. I think the lack of Saturday night games hurts attendance. I think there were only 2 maybe 3 home games on Saturday. I know with my schedule that is the only day I can go.

Great start all around. I'm a bit disappointed that, while we're in the primetime nationally televised game, we've got relatively rookie officials tonight...all the while the league sent Chris Beaver to PFW and Steve McJunkins to Cleveland State (both perennial power 5 officials).

Which is a season high and will likely be the highest attended conference matchup across the entire league all season. Total attendance for our season is 52,697 for an average of 3,764. Up 12.7% from last year. |

NKU has 9 offensive rebounds and probably 20 points off of TOs. Clean either of those up and we'll be up double digits.
