Davis needs like 90 points or so to break the Division 1 scoring record.
I'm guessing pops is going to try to force feed him the ball (more than normal) to try to get half of that on senior day so that he has a shot to break it in Round 1 of the HL Tournament. They are also retiring Antoine's jersey during the game.
I figure if we can stop/contain Davis we have a chance to pick up a win assuming our team hasn't mentally checked out. Otherwise, he may drop 50 on us.

It's truly awful that we're in this position having to play Davis in his last home game. We need a win in the worst of ways, and we've got to content with not only his last game but also his scoring record in our last game. Just another notch in the "bad luck" column for this basketball season. The chips are certainly stacked against us, and Detroit also has a lot to play for tomorrow as well.

Just a heads-up for anyone going to today's game. I-75 is closed in both directions in the Detroit area this weekend, from 696 to Square Lake Road. If you're coming north you may be okay. We were coming south because we were also here for the Oakland game. If any of you are coming south like we did, the Woodward Road detour worked out pretty well. Just follow the signs and you'll be fine, but it'll take you 20-30 minutes longer than normal, depending on traffic. GO RAIDERS!!

Fully expecting Mike Davis to let Antoine do whatever he wants today. If we can keep him from going completely bonkers, I like our chances. A victory secures a home game for us in case anyone isn't following the league tournament thread. Big game for us.

This game would be a blowout if we could pull down defensive rebounds. Lidell is killing Finke inside and they have 12 of their 16 right at the rim.

Boy Tim Stewart is having awful game with these foul calls. Been plenty of contact under our basket that hasn't been called yet, but we're getting touch calld off the ball.
Then he calls a +1 for Braun the moment i hit submit. Lol

Sorry I realized some of you might not be watching. Finke had one of the most embarrassing dunk attempts I have ever seen. Easily a not top 10. He's finishing his regular season career in fantastic style. |

Now we did respond, but that would have been a great use of the use it or lose it because we don't historically answer those runs real well. |
