This is great to see. Drew Carter needs starter minutes the rest of the year. Carter and the other two freshmen need more minutes. Andrew and Alex are too inconsistent and are holding this team back. Andrew and Alex have been given every opportunity to shine, but keep missing the mark, it is what it is. If Andrew and Alex continue to perform the way they have, then WSU will be lucky to finish above .500. If one or two of the freshman rise to the occasion, this team can be the dominant force in the Horizon League going into February and March.

There were a few defensive lapses, but overall a nice effort tonight. Turnovers were the main issue tonight, but I'll gladly take that trade (at least with the hindsight of knowing we won). I know students are still on break, but was a little disappointed with the size of the crowd tonight -- I was hoping for more like the Miami game, but I guess Miami is probably still a more interesting opponent to the casual fan than our conference teams. The crowd was involved, though. Stressful finish. WSU came close to giving the game away with the turnovers down the stretch. The sad thing wasn't the turnovers, but the fact that the turnovers were due to sloppy/lazy passes by WSU players.

I think Alex played pretty well tonight, overall -- a couple bad turnovers (3 total), but 9 points, 8 assists and 5 rebounds. On another note, AJ had one of his best games in a long time.

First half flew by with the lack of whistles. I think there was 5 minutes to go in the half before the first Raider picked up a foul. I think that helped keep the crowd engaged - along with the hot start.
Team certainly looked good last night - hope we can build some momentum from here.

Nice win by the Raiders! I think CSU is good overall so a solid win, but one you have to get at home to kind of stay in the race early.
On a side note, I saw Purdue Fort Wayne was predicted 8th and Green Bay 11th last in the Preseason Poll predictions, and they are currently 1st and 2nd. Boy whoever's making those predictions is pretty off!

I disagreed with this, but then re-watched the Cleveland game and now after Purdue Fort Wayne game, I think Anrew and Alex are helping, not holding the team back.
