Time is running out and Raiders just can get it under five points.

Callaghan played nine minutes to Norris' 26 minutes. Is Callaghan still banged up?

Callaghan played nine minutes to Norris' 26 minutes. Is Callaghan still banged up? Not sure, but could be...I know he took a couple (IMO) ill advised shots and was getting blocked at the rim during the time he was in there, so not for sure how that may or may not played into his total playing time. Not defending anything one way or another, just my thoughts.

Nice game Raiders, can’t do much when refs call a foul on every Toledo offensive possession. Ridiculous officiating.

I pretty much ignore the refs but last night was horrible. The disparity in the number of fouls and the ticky tack stuff they were calling on us was unacceptable. If those were MAC refs they have low standards.

If those were MAC refs they have low standards. From my understanding of getting to know some officials, it is not conference based, but more so regionally based. Especially for mid-major games in Ohio, the majority of those games will be covered by officials who live in the Midwest (Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, etc). You might also see these officials do occasional Big Ten games. There are certain places where officials know they can’t upset the home crowd and Toledo is probably one of them.

Yeah because that Toledo crowd sure was going mild.

Got a chance to watch the replay late last night and was relatively pleased with our performance. Toledo should be a good team this year and we looked like we belonged for the most part. Which is especially encouraging with a new coach and so many new players so it would be understandable if it took us a while to gel.
