Awesome game all around -- would love to think this is a sign of better things to come this year.

Great defensive effort and got some contributions on offense from unusual suspects (Woods and Norris). We won't shoot 50% from the field or 3-pt line every game but if we limit the other team to around 60 points, I like our chances. Really think this will be the team we see consistently this year. Kudos to Coach Sargent and staff!

I certainly did not see this coming!
- Brandon was his usual dominant self.
- Jack was HUGE off the bench! 9pts & 12 rbs. His ability to slash to the rim is much needed on this team.
- Logan was on fire tonight and his work rate on defense is always 100%.
- I love the fact that Alex was the focus of Princeton's defense and that he never forced his shot to " get his points". Alex was patient and played within the team structure. He "quietly " had 10 pts and was solid on defense. He brings such a calming influence to the team.
- Ive had my doubts about Keaton and he proved me wrong big time tonight! If he can continue to hold his own defensively and run the offense ( 8 assist tonight ) and knock down open looks we can compete in the Horizon League.
- Solomon is going to be a really good player for us. He oozes athletism and is so smooth. I like that he is playing within the offense for the most part and appears to work hard on the defensive end.
- Big Mike was in foul trouble a lot tonight but he does bring a physical presence to the team which we need.
Bradley will be a bigger challenge so hopefully we can bring the same intensity and give them a good game!

It's safe to say the defense has improved. The Raiders have already held more D1 opponents (2) below 70 points than all of last season (1).
The Raiders need to show up ready to play tomorrow like they did tonight -- no more slow starts.

Great to see the quick start. Also great response when Princeton made their run midway thru the 2nd half.
Defense was good, but Princeton also seemed cold and missed a lot of makeable shots, especially in the first half. Also nice to see us dominate the boards.
Princeton had no answer for BNoel. I suspect this will be a recurring theme this season.
Logan was on fire! Jack is a sparkplug of energy every time he steps on the floor.
Need to get Andrew, Solomon, and Trey going -- all were invisible tonight. If they can add meaningful minutes this team could really have something.
Good team win. Let's see a repeat tomorrow against a very stout Bradley team.

Nice win, definitely was surprised to see the boxscore when I checked this evening! Princeton seems like a decent team too as they've beaten the teams it looked like they should have beaten, and just had the one close loss to Loyola Chicago who is pretty solid.
Keaton Norris seems to be coming along lately which is good to see. I was curious several days ago and looked up his stats and didn't realize how many games and minutes he had played at WSU in his first 2 years. He played a ton, but basically averaged 3ppg and 3 assists per game. I think for a guy that's not going to score a lot you can't have him playing 25-30 minutes per game averaging 3 and 3 as he had in past years.
But I think if he's averaging 7ppg and 5apg, playing good defense, from a statistical standpoint I think that can work if others around him can score. He doesn't have those ideal numbers you're looking for from a PG, but maybe has he settles in he really will be more of that consistent 8ppg, 4apg type of scrappy player that can lead a team to a lot of wins.
Just from the brief highlights I saw, Doumbia looks like he has slash to basket skills, he looks to be an important part of this team.
The only concern I have is it looks like they only played about 6 guys tonight overall. Didn't look like from a minutes standpoint they really even went 7 deep. A little surprised to see that. I know many have complained about the depth over the years. We'll just have to wait and see how Sargent manages this roster and team.
Overall, I think Sargent's doing a good job. I'm curious to see the differences in his style, and the direction they take this year.

Broadcast crew last night seemed shocked and appalled that we were picked to finish 5th in the conference. If we play like we did last night, I think we're going to prove them right about that.
