Great game, and a good win for the Panthers 78-74 UWM over Montana (10-2) in front of 7200 fans in Montana. Montana had a 10 game winning streak entering the game. Game seesawed back and forth until the end.

Tonights wins raises the HL to 42-43 in nonconference play against D1.

The HL has made a nice rebound. It would be great to finish over .500!
Both Wisconsin teams had nice wins.

There are 3 remaining D1 nonconference games for the league before the Bracket Buster games, two today. Detroit is at South Carolina, and Wright State is at Akron. The other game is Cleveland State vs. Akron on Jan. 16. It's not likely that Detroit will win at South Carolina, so both Wright State and Cleveland State need to win to get it at .500 before the Bracket Buster games. Then, the Horizon League needs to go 5-4 in that to finish .500 in nonconferfence.
Winning hasn't helped the league too much in RPI. Despite winning both games today, they dropped to 15th in rank for RPI.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the RPI's. They have North Illinois as a top 10 team

YSU at UIC going to overtime at 76 apiece.
Game video on internet, UIC again playing to competition. Although YSU has looked a lot better than they have in the past. Video director on the internet needs to stick to the high mid-court view because their camera men can't keep up with the play on the closeups.
