It just shows how pathetic this league is when we have lost 3 in a row and only 1 game above .500 and we are still in 2nd place.

It only shows that the league is very balanced. You can argue that most of the teams are even and all of them are equally bad. Yet the fact that a 4-3 record keeps us in the second place does not show that the league is crappy.

I agree this league is not up to its own standards of the recent past (read crappy). However, the level of crappiness of the league can not be evaluated as a result of having a team with a 4-3 record in second place.
