I'm losing the faith. Why didn't Yoho put that shot up? Quit worrying about drawing the foul and shoot the rock. I don't even care if we win a game again except for Miami and the conference games. We need Sledge in the middle for sure.

The two reasons I haven't given up on rooting for this team yet:
1. I have too much pride in my alma mater. Stupid, stupid pride.
2. The extremely minute chance that I get to say "I told you so" as the last one who jumped off the wagon.
There it is in a nutshell. Rooting out of spite.

I ain't giving up but they sure making it hard for a person to wear my Raider attire around town right now. Had a UK fan tell me we had a good baseball team though.

I'm not giving up on the team. BD has to learn the changes made in calling fouls makes his thinking of offense and defense more ineffective. Hope we can change and drive more and get to the rim or pass out for three.

I ain't giving up but they sure making it hard for a person to wear my Raider attire around town right now. Had a UK fan tell me we had a good baseball team though. I'm never going to give up on a Wright State team. It's just very, very hard to like them right now. I'm still holding onto that hope that Donlon's doing some sort of Andy Kauffman thing until we get into conference play. Then once that Oakland game on January 2nd hits, BAM! Here's the real team! ...but of course that would be illegal. Just win, Raiders. Do it for the children. |

The problem is,even if we somehow put it all together for conference play and win the HL, we would be destined for the play in game in the NCAAs. This schedule had no margin of error is was so weak. Losing games like this is completely unacceptable. |

For all the talk by BD about UD not playing us, for all the rants on this board about the schedule, for all the love in the press and USA Today about us possibly being the next mid-major cinderalla...to losing to NC A&T. It really is hard to be a fan for sure. We have season tickets, it's a family thing, and we're still going to go and cheer, but man, this loss is just hard to swallow.
Still keep the hope....Butler lost to YSU the second time they finished runner-up in the tourney.

Butler lost to YSU the second time they finished runner-up in the tourney. That one loss was a freak occurrence in an otherwise great season for them. We have played like crap all season. |
