I am really having mixed emotions about who I'd rather play in the semi's.
YSU has to stud scorers in Humphrey & Roberts so they can put up points in a hurry. YSU's zone defense completely baffled us last Thursday. I can't imagine us not being prepared the 2nd time for that zone but YSU will be playing with confidence after their win over us last week. Another area of concern with YSU is that in our previous 2 games against the Penguins we defended their 2 Seniors ( Robert & the "Q") with our freshman. In big games it is always a bit risky to put a freshman in that position.
It is always hard to be a good team 3 times in a season and that is what we would have to do against GB. The loss of Josh Lawerance really hurt GB.
I think GB is a better match up for us but beating YSU would help our RPI much more and "possibly" help improve our seeding IF we make the NCAA's.
Lets just hope Friday's game goes into triple OT ;D

Complete no brainer--Green Bay. I don't give a shit about seeding. I want to get into the dance. We haven't done that in 14 years. A few RPI points one way or another isn't going to matter much with our seeding anyways. We want to play the team we have the best chance of beating and that is Green Bay. Their coach is an idiot and can single handedly lose the game for them. YSU has a good coach and a few talented guards that can play as well as anyone out there. I want to play Green Bay and I hope the Loyola/Butler game goes into 4 OTs.
