I was thinking about how the Nutter Center looked this past season and was thinking about things I would like to see upgraded. The last few games of the year really showed how bad our parking lots are when the NC is full. We really need to look into draining and moving the pond behind the the baseball field. That would free up a great deal of close parking for the Nutter Center. I also liked how the lower arena seats were upgraded to cushioned seats this past summer and would like the rest of the seats to be done in the future as well. The center scoreboard has always driven me nuts since it doesn't have the actual score on it. I hate the drab grey paint in the Nutter Center. The Nutter Center has been open for more than 15 years. It is time for a new paint job.
What does everyone else think? What should be done to upgrade the Nutter Center?

I voted for a new paint job. I think we should paint the entire interior hunter green.

I think fixing our parking problem should be our top priority, but that is probably the least likely to happen anytime soon due to the cost. It will be a huge 6-7 figure bill to move that pond, but in the long run, I think it will be a worthwhile investment.
In the meantime I look forward to the only upgrade that I can guarantee will take place next year. Our new HL championship banner will be a welcome addition to the Nutter Center.

I do not think parking is as big a problem at the Nutter Center as people say, the bigger problem seems to be exiting the parking lots. People often complain how long it takes them to leave. Add walkways over the exits so people do not have to stop to let people go by the exits out of each lot, also if additional exits could somehow be added to alleviate the bottle neck, that would be a huge improvement. I personally didn't like the new seats in the lower arena, the padding was nice but not great and the seats actually have less room in each seat then they used to have. Also adding the new seats took out a row of seats and the lowest row is useless because it is so low with people sitting in seats or the scoring table in front of them. Also I would still love cup holders if at all possible. The arena in Buffalo had cup holders for all the seats and that was very convenient.

I voted for a new paint job, but I would also like to see more signage that lets you know you are at WSU. I know they have wanted the arena to be plain in the past since it is used for concerts, etc. We need to change that philosophy and make the place look like it belongs to Wright State.

I went with parking. People that are used to seeing games across town never stop bitching and moaning about how bad it is at the NC. If we want big crowds, we need to make going to the games a better experience for them.

I voted for none of the above because I would rather see us put as much money into keeping our coaching staff as possible.
