FYI, WSU didn't crack the top 100 in 2006. We averaged 5,045.

So far we have a decent home schedule for next season. If we build upon last year's success, I think we have a legit shot at breaking the 7000 barrier.

BigD, I think you're right that with our already known home schedule we have a legitimate shot at averaging around 7,000 fans next year.
The additional revenue another 1,136 fans per game ( 7,000 minus 5,864) can generate would be HUGE for the basketball program. Lets assume that the "average" ticket price is $10 ( I figured the low end is $6 in the family fun zone and the high end is a $15 ticket). That would bring in an additional $10,000 per game. If we have 14 home games that is another $140,000 in ADDITIONAL revenue!!!
That would be a nice start to upping the pay for BB and his staff in and effort to retain their services for a couple more years.
Boy oh boy, wouldn't it be fun to have 7,000 plus fans again. The Nutter Center is a blast when the crowd is big and into the game.

Both Butler games and the Fullerton game shows how much fun the Nutter Center can be with over 9,000 in the stands. It makes the Nutter a real home court advantage.
Lets hope we can get big turnouts for the Miami and Butler games.
