Raiders Visit Fairborn School Oct. 2, 2007 Six student-athletes from the Wright State University men's basketball team took a break from classes to visit Fairborn (OH) Intermediate School last Friday (Sept. 28). At the monthly STARRS assembly, the players talked to the students about the importance of their own education as they were growing up, their responsibilities as student-athletes and encouraged the youngsters to strive to achieve their goals. The Raiders that attended the event were Ronnie Thomas, Vaughn Duggins, Will Graham, John David Gardner, Scottie Wilson and Todd Brown as well as Director of Basketball Operations Scott Woods. The 2007 Horizon League Champions will take to the court next Friday (Oct. 12) for their first preseason workout. The Raiders finished last season with a 23-10 record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1993. wsuraiders.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/100207aab.html
