This article is a great example of why I don't visit RRB very often. It was once a great place for WSU fans to visit to get the inside scoop on the comings and goings of WSU basketball. That was back when they had qualified journalists. Now they let just about anyone write an article. For those of you who are not familiar with Rod Hissong, he is a former WSU student that now lives on the east coast. He hasn't seen the Raiders play in person for over a year, but he is the author of the linked article giving Raider fans his "in depth" analysis of WSU hoops. raiderroundball.com/1008/2-preseason.htmlFans over on rrb like to complain about the articles written about WSU by the DDN. At least their beat writer has been to a game in the last year.

It is easy to see your point when Rod doesn't list Vaughn Duggins as a starter.

I don't think anyone that has read one of Rod's articles considers him a real sports journalist. Most of his game previews last year were cut and paste pieces right out of WSU's game previews available on line. On the other hand, I do enjoy reading stories on RRB written by Ryan Hehr. The kid is young, but he has a pretty good grasp of the game of basketball and is a pretty good writer.
