I picked Loyola's because all they do is talk politics.

YSU's board. All they talk about is wannabe D1 football.

I hate Butler's board. The arrogance is overwhelming.

Does CSU even have their own board?

I voted for Butler just to be a Richard. Raiderroundball.com is pretty bad due to pettiness and over-the-top censorship, but I can't vote against anything Wright State. Hoosiers would have been a better movie if it was filmed at Nutter. Haha. Just busting some balls of our good friends to the west. They hear "Nutter Center" and they go into hiding. I voted like Blitz for the same reasons.

Well I voted for CSU because I don't know if I've ever seen a message board for CSU.
I rarely ever go to other teams boards. This is my favorite board simply because it tends to stick to basketball. I don't have to sort through post to find one that is basketball related.
I also go over to RRB on a regular basis. They have several posters over there that I enjoy reading and they for the most part stick to basketball and have some good insights. Guys like jerryg, wolf, & dolibasbros just to name a few. I've gotten pretty good at filtering out certain posters ( it's just a few but boy do they dominate the board) who have multiple axes to grind whether it be with individuals, other HL schools, or the local paper so I simply don't open any post they start or read any thing they post.
I think we are very blessed to have 2 fairly active boards with passionate WSU fans on both. I think since the 2 WSU boards are different in content and focus it makes for a win/win for all WSU fans.

I like that we have two active boards. The more Raider news the better for me. If a third board opened up I would read that one as well. The only other Horizon League boards I read are the Butler and Valparaiso boards and I like both of them because their is always action on them.

The Butler board is really good and active. The Valpo board is pretty good. The Rambler board is just crazy. RRB is okay although I could do with out Rod wishing fans happy Ramadan and using his heavy hand to put a damper in discussions. The UWGB is okay but boring. The YSU fans don't seem to know it is basketball season.
The rest are just so-so whcih brings me to the stinker of the lot the CSU board. I hope they get some fans to start posting something.

I voted for Loyola. I mean how the hell can you mix politics and basketball (well I guess when you do that you get Bill Bradley, but I digress)? Loyola seems to be an educated bunch. It is probably the most prestigious university in the Horizon League, but it seems that with being intelligent and educated, you sometimes miss things(think nutty absent-minded professor). Adding politics to a conversation that started on a different subject can really kill it. I pretty much learned that during my freshman year at Wright State. I mean, it is weird to talk about Obama in Iowa next to the thread where you talk about recruiting. While I agree that Butler's board is brimming with a smug, arrogant, self-satisfaction, Loyola mixes politics and basketball and does so in a clumsy, awkward fashion which raises eyebrows, puzzles the mind, and makes people scratch their heads.

Loyola's board reminds me of the wild west where anything is fair game. It represents to me what a college should be and that is a marketplace of ideas. If you are looking for strictly college b-all talk you will be in for a shock. I don't really have a huge interest in LU sports, but I pop in maybe once a week to read some of the crazy posts. It sure beats a message board like YSU's. The entertainment value is pretty good.

Yeah, I guess you are right Raiderrunt, but it is still just a lil weird.
