I was looking up some stats last night and found that Scottie Wilson is leading the Horizon League in rebounding and Jordan is tied for fifth in rebounding. We have quite the tandem. Their senior leadership could not be coming at a better time considering we are now into league play.
1. Scottie Wilson of Wright State 7.6 rpg 2. Leon Young of Loyola @ 7.1 rpg 3. Urule Igbavboa of Valparaiso @ 6.5 rpg 4. Paige Paulsen of Milwaukee @ 6.4 rpg 5. Jordan Plieman of Wright State @ 6.0 rpg 5. John Barber of Youngstown @ 6.0 rpg 5. Chris Hayes of Detroit @ 6.0 rpg
What a luxury it is to have two of the top rebounders in the league just reminds me of how valuable these two guys are to the team and why it is paramount that they stay out of foul trouble and on the floor. Between Jordan and Scottie they are giving us 20.6 points a game and 13.5 rebounds a game. Both of these guys are critical to the success of the team.
