Last nights win was excellent considering UIC has not lost a home game there all year until last night. But now comes two critical games because they are both road games and by all accounts they are probably our most winnable road games remaining. Winning on the road is tough especially when you are short on players due to injury and we are still a young team. If we have any hopes of finishing in the top three or four in the League then these become must win games. Both Loyola and Detroit can and will beat us if we don't come ready to play with 100% effort.
If we are able to grab these two road wins that will put us at 5-4 in league play with back to back home games following against the two Wisconsin teams. If we can hold serve at home then we have the opportunity to be sitting at 7-4 in the Horizon League and fighting for a top four finish.
Of course this all depends on us first winning at Loyola which will be no easy task.

All HL games are critical at this point. We dug ourself into a hole. Now we need to dig our way back out.
