Who do you think we should have in our starting line-up?

I went with Gardner, Duggins, Land, Cooperwood, and Pressley. Gardner is finally starting to show why Brownell was so high on him. Duggins is our leader. Land would give us more size at small forward and help with rebounding. Cooperwood is a stud. Pressley might still be developing his offensive skills, but he is tough and can be the rebounding force we need in the middle. I see Todd regaining his starting spot once he gets out of his shooting funk.

He is in a bit of a funk, but I think he is an All-HL player and needs to be given the chance to play himself out of his funk.

Gardner, Duggins, Brown, Cooperwood, and Pressley. More rebounding + more offensive firepower = more wins.

Gardner, Duggins, Brown, Cooperwood, and Land. We need offense. All 5 of these guys are capable of scoring double digits.

Good poll question. I like our original lineup with Kyle replacing Ronnie. I like his athleticism and toughness. Ronnie is playing better than last year, but he is better suited to be a back up.

Other line-up. Evans is a better point than Graham.

We need more rebounding and second chance shots.

My lineup for the next game would be Gardner, Duggins, Land, Cooperwood, and Pressley. But I think that Todd would work his way back into the starting line-up for either Land or Pressley once he gets out of his shooting slump.
Another combination I would like to see on the floor during the game sometime, is moving Todd to the 2 position and then using either Land or Grote at the 3, with Cooperwood at the 4. We could use any of the guards at the PG position and Either Pressley or Thomas at the 5. This wouldn't be my starting line-up but a combination that might cause some match-up problems during the game. Especially if the other team has two short guards. Todd could take advantage of his athletic ability and height against a smaller defender.

This is a great topic considering coach B is trying to mix and match players and find the right combinations to put on the floor.
As I mentioned over on bballraider's blog our two biggest area's of need are rebounding and more offense. At this time I think we really need Kyle Pressley in the line up simply for his aggressiveness on the boards. This young man thinks every rebound is his and he goes after every board like a dog chasing a UPS truck. Our second most productive post rebounder in my opinion is Cory Cooperwood so he is in my starting lineup as well. Ok so now we have our two best forward rebounder's starting to help with our rebounding deficiency so now let's focus on generating more offense.
To me the small forward position is were more offense needs to come from so as of now I would go with Cooper Land. Cooper is probably our best offensive threat from a forward point of view. Where he is weak is in rebounding and post defense but with Kyle and Cory in the lineup that area has been shored up so Cooper is in their to score! So Cooper plays the small forward on offense and will probably need to defend the other teams power forward since he won't be quick enough to defend a quicker wing player. I would put Cory Cooperwood on the other teams small forward since he is more athletic and much quicker then Cooper Land.
Now I firmly believe that in the near future Todd Brown reclaims his wing position and our offensive woes are diminished greatly but until Todd gains his confidence back Cooper is our short term solution.
Our guards have to generate offense!!! Obviously Vaughn will start at one guard spot and I would go with N'Gai at the other guard. I picked N'Gai for several reasons. First he is very aggressive and fearless on offense and is at least looking to score. Second he is was about the only guard we had that could contain Kenny Hayes from Miami. I choose N'Gai over John David as well because according to coach Brownell John David is so beat up that he is never sure how many minutes John David can physically play game to game. I love JD and if he is healthy then he would start over N'Gai but for now I'd go with N'Gai.
Here are my starters:
Point guard N'Gai 6-0 Two guard Vaughn 6-3 Small forward Cooper 6-8 Power forward Cory 6-6 Center Kyle 6-8
As I mentioned earlier I see Todd and even Scott Grote being serious offensive threats as he season progresses.
Just to give credit where credit is due the forward and center positions logic was first brought to my attention by bballraider over on his blog.

After tonight's game I think I would go with Gardner, Duggins, Grote, Cooperwood, and Land. I would use Pressley, Evans, Brown, and Tabler off the bench. I think it's time to give up on Graham, Thomas, and Horne in the rotation.
