It doesn't matter who we schedule if we don't win those games. We need to get off to a good start next year.

My ideal schedule: 1) Multi-team tournament with TV coverage (pNIT, Hawaii, Alaska, etc). I want a chance to play a few BCS teams on a neutral court and get some national exposure for it.
2) 2 BCS games against teams we have a chance at beating or local BCS programs we have a chance at playing a respectable game against. I don't want to go to NC or Duke and get blown out by 30. There are many BCS programs that are beatable that we could schedule.
3) Bracket Buster game/return game from the previous year. Bracket Busters has been pretty good to us. We have gotten a pretty good team on our schedule each year and a few chances at playing on TV.
4) 5 home/home series with quality mid-majors from the MVC, A-10, CAA, MAC, other local mid-majors that are consistently good. I don't care what conferences we schedule teams from as much as I care about their name recognition. It doesn't matter how good we are. We are never going to have consistent big crowds at the Nutter Center until we start playing some teams casual fans recognize.

I understand our thoughts about getting more people to come to games. I am all for selling out the Nutt house. But if you look at it, we are number 2 in home attendence in the league. To me that is not bad. We are only behind Butler, and they dont "really" have another big school in there area to take away from there attendence. I dont consider IUPUI a powerhouse in bball lol. Raider Alumni your ideal schedule is ideal lol. Getting that kind of schedule would be great. Can we start scheduling in season tourny's earlier in the year so that Todd shows up earlier in the year?

I don't know how long you have been a Raider fan, so I am assuming you weren't around in the early 1990s here. Back then we averaged between 7000 to 8000 a game. I don't think anyone is expecting us to sell out every game, but there is NO reason to think that we cannot at least get back to where we once were if we are a winning team and we are playing good competition.
