I think that loss helps the rest of the conference going into the HL tournament knowing Butler is beatable and more importantly beatable at home.

Saturday, February 21Northeastern @ Wright State Butler @ Davidson Cleveland State @ Wichita State Bradley @ Loyola St. Peter's @ Youngstown State Green Bay @ Long Beach State Detroit @ Tennessee State North Dakota State @ Milwaukee Southern Illinois @ UIC Akron @ Valparaiso It's a very important weekend for the HL. We are currently the 11th ranked conference right behind the MVC. With a good Bracket Busters weekend we could jump ahead of them into the top 10.

I only mention this because it makes the race for the 2 spot much different for us.

It all comes down to the last 3 HL games. Even if we win out, CSU will hold the tie breaker over us if they win out because they will have beaten Butler. If they go 2-1 (loss to Butler) and we go 2-1 (lose to UIC, but beat UWGB and UWM) we hold the tie breaker over them. We split with them. We both lost 2 to Butler, split with UWGB, and split with UWM. We get the tie breaker since we swept YSU and they split with them.
