I had to go with the 83 team. It was my freshman year and it totally hooked me on WSU hoops. I use to love going to the PE building for games. No doubt I also enjoyed the 93 & 07 teams as well. Rock, you might want to update your profile. You have your birthday listed as 06/29/1982. It is either wrong or you were the youngest freshman ever admitted to WSU. Hey, good catch Alumni. Who know why I put that date down but I can assure you that I was born in 1963 and graduated in 82. I went to Wright State's branch campus breifly before transfering to the main campus. I remember a group of guys that use to stand along the wall on the top row and would just yell nonstop the entire game. They use to drive the opposing team and coach crazy. One of my biggest heart breaks as a fan was losing to Cheney State ( I'm pretty sure ) in the DII semi finals. Andy ( Sky baby )Warner missed a wide open 15' that would have won the game for us.

Let's not kid ourselves when comparing Edwards' stats as a senior to Wood's stats as a senior. Wright State played a much-tougher schedule in 2006-07 than it did in 1992-93. Our SOS was almost identical for those 2 seasons. The 2006/07 season was slightly better because our conference was better. We had a strong non-conference schedule in 1992/93 that included games vs UK, OSU, Miami OH, and Ohio U.

I went with the 2007 team. It was the first time I really started watching/following Wright State basketball closely. I never really had a favorite team in college basketball, and always played with WSU in video games because my dad went there for a year or so and well my last name is Wright. I then figured out that I could watch their games online, and watched just about every game online. I also went to my first game, it was against Cal State Fullerton(senior night). I guess I couldn't have picked a better year to start following them, that season got me hooked and I've been a fan ever since.

I went with 2007 just because I knew so many of the players personally from managing in the 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 seasons. Also we beat Butler in the regular season on my 18th birthday... best birthday present I've ever received. Also to settle all this '93 vs. '07 talk, here you go. whatifsports.com/ncaab/boxscore.asp?GameID=1547166&nomenu=1The 1993 team wins 83-78 as Edwards went for 27 and 7. DaShaun had a good game as well scoring 15 with 9 assists, 8 boards, and 5 steals but it wasn't enough. Hard to stop our 1993 team when they shoot almost 55% from the field!

I voted Other - my fave team was the '89-90 Raiders. They went to the UD Arena on January 6, 1990 and SCHOOLED the NCAA-bound Flyers. Still my favorite "in-person" sports experience.
