Why is Butler and Valpo only playing one HL game this week when everyone else has to play 2? That's an unfair advantage for both of them. I think you would find that every HL coach would like a few more weeks of nonconference games to prep their teams for HL play.

Why is Butler and Valpo only playing one HL game this week when everyone else has to play 2? That's an unfair advantage for both of them. I think you would find that every HL coach would like a few more weeks of nonconference games to prep their teams for HL play. This will happen for each Horizon team twice during the schedule. All of the travel partners are playing at other travel partner home site this week. Therefore Butler and Valpo can only schedule one game against each other this week. The week that WSU plays @ Detroit and Detroit plays at WSU, they should either not have another game, or play an OCC game. This makes perfect sense if the Horizon can stay with the travel partner concept to save on travel costs for all HL teams. I was just wondering how it worked out when we play our travel partner last night. Odd I didn't need to ask my question. thank you.
