I was curious to see how many home and road games the league leaders have left and was kind of surprised to see that a couple have a dramatic advantage coming down the stretch.
Valpo 7 home games and 4 road games
Cleveland State 7 home games and 4 road games
Butler 6 home games and 5 road games
Wright State 5 home games and 6 road games
Detroit 4 home games and 7 road games
UWM 4 home games and 6 road games
Green Bay 4 home games and 7 road games
It would seem that Valpo and Cleveland State with 7 of their last 11 league games being at home has a pretty nice advantage to the league crown.
Both Wisconsin teams and Detroit only have 4 of their remaining 11 league games at home so they will have to battle to stay in the middle of the pack.
Of course we have only 5 home games left out of 11 so we too must fight and up hill battle. This four game road swing can make or break us.
I realize that a lot has to do with remaining games left versus what opponent but I took a quick and simplistic view and it appears that Valpo and Cleveland State are in the drivers seat.
