Sad to say, but CSU took us apart as systematically as I've ever seen a team taken apart. Their team was "on" in every aspect of the game. Give credit where it is due, they cleaned our clock.

Just a quick reminder...The women's game this Wednesday versus Youngstown is at NOON. I assume this game should be titled "The Retiree Nooner", or some such title.

Noon on a Wednesday? This couldn't have worked out better for me, game falls between classes. So I think it might be time to go to my first WSU womens game

Hope the weather cooperates...there could be a lot of elementary school kids if they don't cancel school. I've been to see WSU play down at Miami of Ohio in these types of games ( this will be a big game for the Lady Raiders ).

I believe this is the game that WSU was going to conduct clinics for the kids...noon game allows them to stick to the school schedule pretty much ( as far as start and end of day ). When Miami did it for Lady Raiders games down there ( there weren't many fans other than the kids but, there were plenty of them ). Field Trip!
I believe the correct wording is the game is part of Education and Hoops Day.

The women won a hotly contested game against #1 YSU today. I believe the final score was 93 to 81. I think the fast pace wore on YSU as it was a close game in the first half. But in the second half WSU got the lead and built it up to 13 points. After that they would shrink the lead and we would build it up again. Fortunately for us we shot well today, especially from the arc.

A shame the weather did not cooperate and the schools had to cancel. Someone from WSU said that they had expected 2,700 but, it was nice to see that some of the regulars were able to make it out to the Nutter Center. Nice win.
