I still think we should be hitting up Michigan State for a series. They will have 2 kids on their roster next year from Dayton and Izzo has a history of scheduling series with schools in his player's hometown. I'm sure the way UD ran his friend, Gregory out of town might also give Izzo an incentive to play at WSU rather than UD.

I've never been to that website before, but is it normal for coaches to try and discredit their program in order to attract a better opponent? I understand it would be easier to book a good team if they (the opponent) feel like they have a good shot at winning, but it just comes across as strange.

I've followed the scheduling board for years and most of the good mid-majors use ads like that.

I'm surprised it didn't spell it out even more by saying that we have one junior as well, or take the other view and say we will be a predominately freshmen/sophomore team. In any case, I'm happy we are so close to wrapping up the schedule.

The Bedford Times-Mail is a pay site and the story by Jeff Bartlett has Wright State opening up at Ohio State. Alex Prichett told Bartlett about the Ohio State game. "We found that out on my last visit over there (WSU)," Prichett said of the opening game with the Buckeyes. "That's going to be incredible. I"m sure I can hold my own against Sullinger (Jared, Ohio State's behemoth big man). He'll only have about 75 pounds or so on me." Prichett said that with a chuckle, but its a behemoth against a Titan. Sounds like a good mathcup. The article itself gives detail of Alex's outstanding 16 point effort (14 points second half) in the North/South All-star game at Vincennes this past Sunday. Indiana All-star team to be announced Thursday for the Kentucky series in June. This effort may have helped Prichett's chances of making team.

Sounds like we are playing in the MTE mentioned above with OSU and Florida because the article about Cuffee's signing includes the below quote: Wright State will face teams likes Butler, Florida and Cincinnati in the 2011-2012 season.www.wvnstv.com/story.cfm?func=viewstory&storyid=97657

If we are playing in the OSU/Florida MTE here is what our schedule looks like next year:
home games vs: Cincinnati Charlotte Ohio U Central Michigan Jackson St H/H TBA
road games vs: Ohio State Florida N. Florida Air Force Miami (OH) Bracket Buster
That's a pretty tough OOC schedule for such a young team.

If true I really like this schedule so far. I just hope we can finish it off without adding any D2 games.

That's a pretty good looking schedule that should appeal to casual fans and keep us die hards happy too.
