We should know one way or another soon enough. The next summer class session starts 7/16, so all new recruits should be on campus by then.

gmoore, I have no idea who that last recruit could be. Based on the fact that we are having to wait until July to find out who he is leads me to believe he is someone that probably had to take an extra class or 2 this summer before he was eligible to transfer to WSU. I just hope he is worth giving a scholarship to. I don't want to waste a scholarship on a late signee just to sign someone. I want to add a player that can step in and help this team next year. I'll make a stab at it. I think we are adding another guard based on the recent recruiting news that has come out. If you look at the recruiting updates from the past 3-4 weeks, we have offered several 2014 and 2015 guards, but none in 2013. The only 2013 offer we have made recently was to PF Antonio Campbell. If we finish out the 2012 class with 2 signees, we only have 1 scholarship for 2013. If we are focusing on a PF in 2013, you have to think we added a guard to finish out our 2012 class.

Roddy isn't starting classes until this fall. He is still coming to WSU though. Vincennes JUCO has removed their story of him signing with them from their website and Roddy has confirmed through social media that he is coming to WSU starting in August. Drummond is starting classes next week. Everyone else is already on campus except Young and the last recruit (if we do have another recruit). I don't know when either will start classes.

Drummond is listed in the WSU directory now. Still waiting for Young and Roddy though.

Young and Roddy are both taking one summer class before they come to WSU. They are due on campus in mid August.

wildcatbluenation.com/2012/10/25/19014/ While everyone was eagerly anticipating to see the raw but immense talent of another freshman-heavy UK squad, it was the old man of the bunch in senior guard Julius Mays who was turning heads early scoring 13 points in the first-half as he hit a multitude of jumpers, including a fade-away three-pointer off one foot with the shot clock running down. He just may be the Cats’ go-to option when looking for someone to hit a jumper in the clutch. His 13 first-half helped lead his Blue squad to a 46-38 lead at the intermission. You forgot to include this: After switching to the White squad for much of the second-half, he went 0-4 the rest of the way, so Cal need to see more of Mays before he gives him that designation.

Julius interviewed at UK. Listen to his comment at 3:15. Very interesting...

Donlon took a shot at Mays in the DDN. Mays has responded by taking a shot back at him in the above video clip. It's not surprising in the least. I think it is time for both parties to just move on. Mays isn't coming back to WSU. There is no reason to keep talking about him on this board.

I know Mays is a good offensive player but, after seeing the UK interview WSU might be better off without him. Yes, his scoring will be missed but, there was plenty of times the effort on defense was not there. No sense in wasting a scholarship on a player that doesn't want to be there.
