Well there goes my planned trip to see the Raiders play in Milwaukee. Wardle at Green Bay probably has a big smile, as he now has a big edge when showing recruits that are considering both GB and Milwaukee, the differences in facilities.
Panther fans need to realize that they aren't getting an on-site arena until some booster steps up to the plate or they get a loan from the state. The money they save from the move is not going to be enough to build an arena for a very long time, especially if they have to upgrade and maintain the Klotsche in the meantime while getting less paying customers.

They are going to make a ton less money with the move to campus too. They are dropping ticket prices to try to keep their season ticket holders. They also claim to be doing this to increase student attendance. That sound all nice and dandy but none of those students pay to go to games. When all is said and done, they are going to end up bringing in less paying customers and they will be charging them less to money to attend those games. That's not a smart way to try to increase revenue to build a new arena.

Geiger seems to be a smart man, hopefully this move was made because he already has a revenue stream in place to build a new arena. If it was done solely for the purpose of cutting cost, then it may not be a very smart move. It makes me thankful that we have a president, board of trustees, athletic leadership and boosters that we have here at WSU.
