It's been a weird season. Let's do some superlatives, shall we?

Considering this poll is for most valuable player, shouldn't the poll be set up to only vote for 1 player?

Agreed. I couldn't figure out how to change that once I posted it.

You can select the number of times anyone can vote when you set up the poll. You cannot change it after the poll is opened.

I went with AJ. He really stepped up his game his senior year. It's to bad we didn't get a chance to red-shirt him as a freshman.

On second thought, I kind of like the three votes. It's not weighted with 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd like a Heisman or league MVP but it shows more of the complete story.

AJ and JY get two of my votes for their body of work for the season. Hopkins gets my third vote. I think Hopkins raised the level of play of the team the last two months just by being available. WSU played much better the last two months and I think Hopkins gets more credit than Sledge for the teams improvement.

This team is kinda unusual because we don't really have just one player who stands out but we have had 6-7 players who have been the outstanding player in many of the games. AJ, Jerran, Matt, Cole, Miles, Chrishawn and Reggie have stepped up in games.

That's a feature of this team that could prove to be very beneficial for the tournament. Although Griffen may be sitting, we'll still have 9 guys with a ton of game experience, plus Howell and Davis. Some teams don't go as deep as WSU in terms as minutes played, so in an intense tournament that may work in our favor by allowing guys to get some rest time on the bench AND buy some time if the refs are whistle happy. We CAN win this if we are on our game. Go Raiders!
