Justin @ The Guardian tells me that WSU has 1 or 2 more games that have yet to be announced in that stretch.

Cool another road game. At least next year when I buy season tickets I'll get my money's worth.

Cool another road game. At least next year when I buy season tickets I'll get my money's worth. We knew about almost all of these road games since last year. They are return games from the home and home contracts we signed last year. We are still trying to schedule one more D1 home game this year and we probably already have one D2/NAIA home game that hasn't been announced yet.

Good luck on that attempt at this late date. The only team in a desperate situation like us on basketball travelers is Drexel I look for another D-2 or NAIA game.

Good luck on that attempt at this late date. The only team in a desperate situation like us on basketball travelers is Drexel I look for another D-2 or NAIA game. There are more teams than Drexel still looking for games on basketball travelers. Louisiana Tech is looking for a game the same date we want. They were a top 100 team last year. Memphis, Oregon, Northeastern, Elon, Harvard and North Carolina Central are all still looking for one more game too. The problem is almost all of them want a home game like us. Eventually everyone will get desperate enough to make concessions to finish out their schedule. I for one sure wouldn't mind playing another game on the road this year if it means we could get a return game next year from Oregon or Memphis.

In the real world we are looking at Drexel, Northeastern, Elon, North Carolina Central and an outside shot at Louisiana Tech. Everybody want home games. We should been aggressive about this 2 months ago. We have a pattern every year on our scheduling. It is almost October people.

CSU released their schedule today so WSU is the sole remaining HL team to not have their schedule finished.

We knew about almost all of these road games since last year. They are return games from the home and home contracts we signed last year. That really is the problem. Bowling Green, Miami, Western Carolina, and Evansville were all scheduled last year. The home/away games against Belmont were given to us by the HL as part of Belmont's agreement to the HL when they joined as an associate member. So in the last year, Donlon and his staff added 4 new contracts. 1. They scheduled a buy game at Ohio State. 2. They put us in a low major tournament vs CSU Fullerton, FIU, and USC Upstart. 3. They signed a home/home with low major Charleston Southern. 4. They signed a home/home with George Mason. Since we haven't announced the schedule yet, my guess is that we will add 2 more home games vs. NAIA/D2 teams. That is complete BS that this is the best they could do when they have had a whole year to put together this schedule and only had to sign a half dozen new contracts.

Seems to be the weakest part of this administration's game. Why in the world would you start a home and home on the road with Charleston Southern that early when there were lots of teams at that point that wanted to start H and H's at there gyms.

Klinger is reporting the schedule is finally complete over on RRB. I guess we are just waiting for the final signed contract before we release it.

Is it just me, I cannot believe that every year we cannot finalize a schedule with decent division I teams and have to end up with div 2 or NAIA teams. BD needs help getting a schedule of decent teams together.

I suspect Coach Donlan and the Commish are very happy with the WSU men's basketball schedule. At least the women have a competative schedule.
