I am already looking forward to next season. I think Coach Bradbury has done a heckuva job building the women's team. I'm thrilled to see he is adding some height to the roster next season. I felt our team this past year was a bit short with three women at 6' or 6'1" and the one sub at 6'5". Next year we should be a bit stronger under the basket.

What do you think of the proposed changes in Women's basketball? They include having four 10 min quarters, fouls shots after 5 fouls in each quarter, changes in number of time outs and media time outs. From what I have read most of the coaches are in favor of the proposed changes. Also, changes to when the ten second clock would be reset to zero. the focus was to help speed up the game.

Two things to update: First off, the women's team played an early season Canada excursion earlier this week. The women went 3-0 on the trip. Heard good things about Kim Demmings being back on the hardwood. Second off, the league decided to let Green Bay host this season's women's Horizon League Tournament, marking an end to the 'campus sites' format. Great for Green Bay, but nobody else in the league has been able to really deal with them over the last ten years, might as well just ink their name in the bracket. Stupid decision. Really makes things hard for our team when we can't even earn the ability to host the tournament. www.horizonleague.org/blog/green-bay-to-host-2016-horizon-league-womens-basketball-championship

I totally agree. I fail to see any logic behind this decision aside from a pro-GB position. I think the other 9 schools should throw a fit over this decision. What is the logic, should we win the HL, that we have to ultimately play the title game at GB? Plus it is the most remote site in the HL. Was there any discussion about this matter before it was announced? If so, I'd love to read the transcript.

I thought moving the men's tournament was a bad idea, but it's justifiable from a geographical standpoint. This, though ...wow.

Shame on you guys for not reading the article...not sure what it means from our perspective but multiple bids from the league makes me think that Green Bay must have had a good proposal.

If it isn't a neutral site than the top seed should have hosted the whole tournament. Letting one team buy the rights to host is BS.

I don't know if we made a bid or why they had to change. I've only been to the university once over the years ( the guys have played near Lambeau when they played at either Brown County or now at Resch Center ) and the visit was just a quick look at the campus.

This flies in the face of what is being down with the men where all the contenders will play at a neutral site in Detroit. This proposal has every team coming to the most remote campus to play on the home court of the most dominant team in the HL. This is the most assine decision in the league's history. The bottom line, I suspect, must be money. Are the other nine schools getting a nice guarantee? I can't believe the other 9 institutions signed off on this ridiculous decision. This is the ultimate way to reward success...except of course if some other institution happens to win the regular season. Who initially proposed this, the commish or GB?

Seems real shady. Men's basketball to Detroit, Women's to GB. We better try to get the baseball tournament to be played in Dayton before all the other sports are taken.

I stopped in to speak with Bob Grant today but he was out, so I spoke with Bob Noss. He told me this is just for this season, after which it will be held in Detroit, as with the men. That is good news, BUT it raises the question why make this change for just one year? Why not do the same old thing and then change for 2016-17? Could it be because Kim Demmings will be back along with a bunch of strong recruits and a stronger 6'5" center? Which again raises the question of how the whole issue was even raised and by whom? I bet there will never be an answer to those questions.
