Last night's game reminded me why I'd like such games to be played as pre-season games only. Then DI could play only DI teams during the season. There are plenty of weak sisters for us to play in DI. Maybe the NCAA should require all teams within a conference to play each team twice. The remaining games should divided between the top 120 teams, the middle third of the teams, and the bottom remaining teams as per the final ranking of last year or the preseason ranking for the new year. Even the lowest ranked team in DI will give us a better game than what we have witnessed this season.

At least the women put on a show and took care of business instead of letting them hang around.

Since the women WIN, how bad would it look of the women drew more attendance later in the season than the men? Even if for one game.

I just want to see the ladies get the crowd they deserve. We all know where the men's team is going, so I can only view the women's crowd growing as a positive.

Hell, the ladies had a paid crowd of 1,200 for one home game already, which is probably more than 20% of men's D-I basketball programs.

You know the crowd of 1,200 was part of a doubleheader, right? I used my women's ticket that night but, I had planned on leaving the arena between games and using the scan card for the men. I know they gave away a lot of the t-shirts early but, the men's ticket was good for both games ( so, not sure how they figured the 1,200 ). Sunday versus Georgia is also part of a doubleheader before the men play BGSU ( please come early ). The ladies are scheduled to play at 2pm on January 1st ( OSU plays ND that day at 1pm ). Wouldn't it be fun to be at an event instead of watching tv?

I really don't understand the lack of students at the women's games. Maybe for the GB game we should give out t-shirts. The WSU women deserve good crowds at their games.

Sunday should be a great day for basketball at WSU. I am looking forward to our women taking on the SEC and our men taking on the usually fiesty Falcons from BG. The BG game, IMO, will give us a good read on our team and the coach.

I'm not sure what will make this game a better indicator of the team and coach.

The most entertaining game will be first on the stage tomorrow. Can only hope for an exciting game in the second game.

Yesterdays game was a good one. Was Kim having bad cramping issues? During the second half you could really tell that Georgia's height was hurting the Raiders. Still a great game.

GA really dominated the boards last night. It sounds like they need to work with Kim on her diet to assure she is getting good hydration and not taking in too much salt. I was surprised that the coach didn't play Taylor. She has been one of our best players off the bench and provides instant offense. Likewise for Williams.
