He rebuilt Pitt into a good team. He will do the same at TCU. I remember when he was a candidate for Raider head coach and on the short list.

Interesting that at UCF the final 2 were Dawkins and Linc Darner at Green Bay.

Interesting that at UCF the final 2 were Dawkins and Linc Darner at Green Bay. That certainly would say something about the Horizon League, wouldn't it? If Linc had left after a single season! This conference needs to step it up if they want to get their RPI placement back, because we sure have fallen across the board, while others have gained. It could go another way too; coaches may think that expectations in the HL don't match their collective budgets, so why stay for any length. Interesting discussion, for sure.

Wow. Headhunting Linc already is a bit concerning. I'm sure Drew won't be around much longer after the NIT, either. If we and UWM had waited another year to make the change instead of beginning the bouncebacks now, Jerry Slocumb could be ruling the league with an iron fist for years.

Mick Cronin reportedly leaving UC for UNLV.
Seems to be unconfirmed at this point.

Travis Ford and Bryce Drew are leading candidates for St. Louis job.
League might be losing another prominent coach.

I would think that Bryce Drew should be a hire for team higher than St Louis.

SLU interviewed Travis Ford today for their vacancy, but it sounds like Drew is still their top target. However, his name is now being thrown around for the vacancy at Pitt.
Be interesting to see where the league stands in a month with two vacancies, and at least two active coaches being pursued for openings.

Rick Stansbury reportedly is going to be the next coach at EKU. He is originally a Kentucky native.

Add Linc Darner's name to the opening at Pitt.

Add Linc Darner's name to the opening at Pitt. I'd quote myself again (look farther up the page), but you guys get the point. Clearly the HL is in the midst of a change. Landing on the right side of the change is paramount for us and the league as a whole.

Landing on the right side of the change is paramount for us and the league as a whole. Wasn't this his first year at gb? And first year in D1? Wow, pretty impressive. Does anyone have insight where we are in the process? Who are we looking at? I kind of read the ddn article of potential coaches as a random buzz feed list. Any ideas where bd might end up?
